| Q | How do I get an August Temporary Membership for my family? |
| A | August Temporary Memberships allow families to use the pool from August 1st through Labor Day. Once the Club receives your Membership Registration Form ($25), an offer for August Membership ($100) will be sent to your address. |
| Q | Does HVSC have any Full-Season memberships left for this summer? |
| A | If your family is on the Club's Membership Waiting List by the end of February, then positively yes. Families placed on the list late in the spring are increasingly likely to be offered an August Temporary Membership. Please contact the membership chair with specific questions or details. You can view other Pools in the area on our Links page. |
| Q | How do I become a member of HVSC? |
| A | The single most important step is to register for the Club's Membership Waiting List. The Memberhsip Registration List Form can be printed, completed, and forwarded with a $25 check. The typical membership process is outlined on the membership pages. |
| Q | I was on the Waiting List last summer, do I need to re-register? |
| A | No. The purpose of the Waiting List is to purchase a permanent membership. In the meantime we are able to offer temporary memberships to families on the top the list. Families continue to remain on our list until they are offered a permanent membership. There is no need to re-register year after year to continue to be offered rental memberships. | Q | Does Hunt Valley offer Swim Lessons? |
| A | Yes. The Life Guards offer swim lessons at our pool. Refer to the Operations page for more information. Hunt Valley Swim Team offers additional Pre-Team training as well. More information about the Guppy Program is included on the Swim Team page. |
| Q | How do I notify the Club of a change of address? |
| A | The on-line Change of Address Form can be used to provide any updates to your address and any other contact information. |
| Q | What is the Club's policy on guests? |
| A | The Club's policy on guests is outlines in the HVSC Rules and Regulations. |
| Q | How can I get a Key to the Tennis Courts? |
| A | Keys to the Tennis Courts are available to any member upon request. The on-line Key Request Form can be used. |
| Q | Does HVSC have any Life Guard positions for the summer? |
| A | Life Guards continue to enjoy Hunt Valley Swim Club year after year. They appreciate the family association with our members, the firm support of the Board, and the fantastic condition of our facilities. HVSC has a close relationship with our managing company. Any interested Guards will need to complete an application with NV Pools. Make sure to mention your interest in Hunt Valley Swim Club. |
| Q | What is the procedure for selling my membership? |
| A | Because of the Club's long waiting list, our members are well positioned to sell their membership when they wish. The Sale Request Form can be used to begin this process. Additionally, certain restrictions apply and are detailed on the membership pages. |
| Q | Can my babysitter or nanny accompany my children at the pool? |
| A | The By-Laws do not consider them to be a member of your family. However, our Rules and Regulations do allow them access. |
